Medical University o Gdansk (MUG) is located in a quiet green area, within walking distance of  the city center. There are also  good tram and rail connections to the Old Town (5 min) nearby, and a local train to reach Sopot and Gdynia.

The venue site of the ICHC 2008 will be the modern building of Basic Sciences called Collegium Biomedicum. It is noteworthy for its 3 well-equipped lecture theatres, 6 seminar rooms, and 12 organizational units, including Departments of Anatomy and Neurosciences, Histology, Cell Biology and Electron Microscopy. An additional lecture theatre, 3 seminar rooms, and 3 labs suitable for workshops are available in the New Technologies building.

The extensive computer network of MUG will be fully available to the Congress participants to ensure their continuous contact with home and work.
